Lola Nelson Walters, age 87, of Cabot, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020.  There was a reunion and rejoicing in heaven.  Lola was born June 20, 1933 to the late Owen and Millie Winkle Nelson in Batesville, Arkansas.  She was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church of Cabot.  Lola was preceded in death by her brother, James Nelson; sister, Tavie Stephens and grandson, Ben McKenzie.

Survivors are her children, Cheryl McKenzie of Cabot and Carl (Laura) Biggers of Batesville; two grandchildren, Matthew (Tara) McKenzie of Killeen, Texas and Brittany Biggers (Edward) of Springdale and one great-grandson, Desmond Virgil.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2020 at Briarwood Baptist Church with Brother John Powell officiating.  A graveside service in Mt. Pleasant will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service, 501-941-7888.
