Mamie Marie Winter (Recy), 83, of Heber Springs, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2023.  Recy was born August 2, 1939 to Berlin Winter and Carline Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Travis Russell and her son, Donald Gardner, Jr.

Recy is survived by her children, Mary Martin, Virginia Judah (Kenneth), Pauline Schleif (Tony) and daughter-in-law, Pam Gardner; siblings, Ronald Winter, Mike Russell and Donna Russell; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren with one more on the way, 2 great-great-grandchildren and one more on the way! She is also survived by her lifelong best friend and confidant, aunt Janie Beavers.

Recy was always loving, kind, and generous to everyone she met.  She has persevered through several challenges and obstacles throughout her life with a smile. Now she is at peace and learning to love fishing with her son.

Visitation for Mamie (Recy) will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2023 at Thomas Funeral Service, 713 S Second Street, Cabot, AR 72023.
