Marcie Marie Howe, age 63, of Lonoke, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009. She was born December 3, 1945 in Little Rock to the late Marcie Leota Manning-Branstetter & William Archie Johnson.

She is also preceded in death by her step-father Edgar Louis Branstetter; one sister Audrey Beyers-Branstetter and a granddaughter Tiffany Marie Phillips.

Survivors include her husband Eldon Leroy Howe, Sr. of Lonoke; one daughter Kimillia Ladon Howe-Carswell (Daniel) of Lonoke; four sons: Tony Ray Phillips (Neoma) of No. Little Rock, Richard Lewis Heavrin of Cabot, Eldon Leroy Howe, Jr. (Ann Marie) of Lonoke, and William Edward Howe (Ruth Marie) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; two step-daughters: Virginia Ann Howe-Nicholson (Stanley) of West Helena, and Joyce Dawane Howe-Rutherford (Jeff) of Jacksonville; two sisters Louise Horton of Lonoke and Brenda Sue Griffin of North Little Rock; nineteen grandchildren: Joshua, Caleb & Micah Nicholson; Debra Beadon; Crystal, David & Jennifer Dillon; Eldon & Joshua Anderson; Shyanne, Zachary, Autumn, Payton, Elijah, Dustin, & Desiree Howe; Kodi Gildener; Michelle & Robert Rutherford and Tara Pennington; six great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 2:00 to 9:00 pm on Sunday, May 3, 2009 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot. Funeral Services will be held 2:30 pm on Monday, May 4, 2009 at Living Waters Church in Cabot with Rev. Stanley Nicholson officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Old Austin Cemetery in Ward. A Memorial Fund has been set up at First Arkansas Bank & Trust in Cabot for any donations.
