Mary Jo Waters, age 67, of Cabot, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at her home in Cabot. Mary Jo was born on March 9, 1942 in the Sylvania Community to the late Gibson and Mildred Blackwood. She was a Member of the First Baptist Church in Cabot and retired from Cabot School District.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert " Bob" Waters of the home; two sons, Tony Waters of Ward and Steve (Kay) Waters of Austin; four Grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Lorene Wamock of Madisonville, Kentucky; along with a host of family and friends

A time of visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 25 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday July 26, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Cabot with interment following at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
