Michael Gene Howard, 59, of Beebe, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 31, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 4, 1959 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Bobby Gene and Valorias Faye McCain Howard. Mike spent his younger years around Dallas, Texas, then moved back to his hometown area in 1989 and settled in Beebe. He worked as a truck driver most of his life. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Gail Howard, and two grandchildren.

Michael will be missed and remembered by his wife, LeAnna Murphy Howard; stepfather, Galand Poe; three sons, Shannon Michael Howard, Joey Lynn Howard, Clinton James "CJ" Howard; one daughter, Kristi Marie Sly; three grandsons and one granddaughter; brother, Kenneth Earl Howard; three sisters, Rebecca Kay Pruett, Brenda Sue Case, Vera Juanity Shipp; and, father-in-law, James D.
