Mitchell Eugene Stine, age 50, of Southbend Community in Lonoke County, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 31, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama to Patricia Nell Stine & the late Arvin "Jerry" Stine.

He leaves behind his wife and friend of over 27 years, Gwendolyn "Trina" Stine; one son Zackary Thomas Stine & ShaVonne of Southbend; three daughters: Brittney Nichole Bell & David of Southbend, Michelle "Shelly" Stine of Yukon, Oklahoma and Jamie Johnson & Corey of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; mother Patricia "Pat" Grimes & Donnie of Caney, Kansas; two brothers, Mike Stine & Mary and Alan Stine & Cheryl of Oklahoma; one sister Tammy Johnson of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren: Zackary Shane Stine, Angel Unrein, Jacob Tyler Fritts, Adrianna Unrein, Roman Unrein, Drew Winters & Dara Johnson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many other family members and friends.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 2:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, August 23, 2009 with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Thomas Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, August 24, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Service Chapel in Cabot, with interment immediately following at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock.
