Msgt Retired Geoffrey Alton Knauss, age 50 of Ward, passed away May 27, 2011. He was born September 22, 1960 in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania to Alton & Eleanor Knauss. He served 22 years in the United States Air Force during the Panama Insurrection and Gulf War. He was also a volunteer at John McClellan V.A. Hospital in Little Rock for many years.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Hazel & Leslie Eckert and Austin & Hilda Knauss.

He is survived by his parents of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; son Zachary Alton Knauss of Navarre, Florida; sister Deborah Hackman(David) of Marlton, New Jersey; and two nieces Rachel & Abigail; along with many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 9:00-11:00am at the funeral home with Graveside services 12:00pm Friday, June 3, 2011 at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery.
