Nana Ladd Weeks, age 90 of Cabot, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 14, 2012 in Jacksonville. She was born January 19, 1922 in Logan County Arkansas to the late Augusta Tom Ladd Sr. and Lola Mae Vaughn Ladd also preceded in death by husband Aubrey Weeks, two brothers Tommy Ladd Jr. Dale Ladd sister Rena Williams.

Nana was a member of First Baptist Church for 67 years where she was a Sunday school teacher and youth worker for many years. She was always helping other in the community in time of need, as well as working with children in the school system.


Survived by daughter Marilyn Spence and husband James Lon of Cabot, son James Weeks fiancée Mary of Cabot sister Emogene Hopkins of Magazine five grandchildren Lana (Mike) Ballard, Yvonne (Dewayne) Hickman, Cherie (Jeff) Dulany, Amanda (Dale) Duncan, Natasha (Mark) Thompson, ten great grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren

Visitation 6-8 P.M. Friday November 16, 2012 at the funeral home, services will be held at First Baptist Church in Cabot at 1:00 P.M. Saturday November 17, 2012. Interment Mt Pleasant Cemetery.
