Nellie Marie Acree, age 80 of Austin, passed away January 15, 2011. She was born July 3, 1930 in Palarm, Arkansas to the late Edward and Effie Gotherman.

She was a member of Mt. Springs Baptist Church, Insurance Woman of Little Rock, and National Association of Insurance Women.

She is also preceded in death by two brothers Jimmy Ray Gotherman and Richard Roy Gotherman; and one sister Helen Gotherman.

She is survived by her husband E.W. "Sonny" Acree of the home; son Jimmy D. Acree(Barbara) of Cabot; two sisters Allie Pearl "Pud" Ray and Alice Mason; three brothers Henry Gotherman, Alfred Allen "Bud" Gotherman and Billy Dean Gotherman; two grandchildren Amber Waller and Justin Acree(Leah); and one great-grandchild Cady Acree.

Visitation will be held 11:00am-8:00pm with family receiving friends 5:00pm-7:00pm Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 10:00am Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Country Chapel Church in Sylvania with interment held 12:00pm at Pine Crest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander.
