Olga Fern Thomas, age 78, of Austin, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. She was born November 18, 1931 in Austin, Arkansas to the late Clifford & Ruth Gunter Cooper.

She is also preceded in death by her husband Cecil Wayne Thomas; two brothers Kenneth & James Cooper and one sister Marilan Byrd.

She is survived by daughter Sherryl Deal (Norm) of Austin; three sons Rocky Thomas (Jackie) of Austin, Brett Thomas of Plainview and Keith Thomas of Austin; two sisters Jackie Harrington of Crossett and Cindy Harrison (Don) of Austin; brother Cliff Cooper (Darlene) of Lake Havasu, Arizona; five grandchildren: Stephanie Sowell, Leslie Brewer-Evans (Matt), Aja Thomas, Christie Allen & Kasey Thomas; and one great-grandchild Kiley Evans; along with other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 1:00 to 8:00 pm with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Graveside Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 12, 2010 at Old Austin Cemetery in Ward.
