Opal Ozell Lee, age 77, of Cabot, becam immortal on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. She was born June 2, 1931 in Brock, Oklahoma to the late Arthur & Mary Ethel Gardner.

She is also preceded in death by her husband Carl Lee; son Gary Carl Lee; two brothers, Gene Gardner & Gilbert Gardner; two sisters, Geraldine Butler & Neva Stricklind; and one granddaughter Keri Hill.

She is survived by a daughter Janet Hill (Warren) of Ward; a son Doug Lee of Wasilla, Alaska; one sister Thelma Anderson of Conroe, Texas; two brothers, Berlin Gardner of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Bobby Gardner of Dover, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren: Kristen Sallison, Jessica Hill, Kevin Hill (Sarah), Tanya Walther (Robert), Melissa Lee, Nichole Lee and Kristen Pickard (Cory); and thirteen great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 15, 2009 at Ward United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, Opal has requested the donations be made to the Ward UMC Blue Hymnal Fund.
