Orville Leon Treadwell, a loving brother and uncle, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 9, 2021 at the age of 83. He was born January 1, 1938 in Leslie, Arkansas to the late James Sr. and Vernell Treadwell. In 1956, Leon went into the United States Army and then worked as a boiler maker. He was a jack-of-all-trades; he sold and bought scrap, converters, pecans and anything else that could make a dollar. Many people knew him as Honest Leon. He loved being out on the road, the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his family. Later in life, he came to know the Lord and was baptized July 4, 2020. In addition to his parents, Leon was preceded in death by his brothers, James (Jr.), L.C., Kenneth and Gerald; one sister, Mary Keough; nephew, Jeff Treadwell and niece, Lisa Holliday.

He is survived by one sister, Willie (James) Evans; five nephews, Kevin (Kay), Craig (Wendy), David (Terribeth), Mark Treadwell and Dennis (Kathleen) Keough; five nieces, Tricia (Gary) Eldridge, Amanda (Caleb) Smith, Rebecca (Billy) Cook, Connie (Chester) Smith and Bonnie (Bob) Podry Leon was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Sandhill Cemetery in Des Arc with Brother Pat Skarda officiating.  Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service, 501-941-7888.
