Pamela Sue Gonzales, ­­64, of Austin, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2017 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was born Saturday, January 17, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio to John and Anna Fugate McClellan Sr. Pamela was an animal rescuer and loved her animals: Chester and Concho (miniature donkeys), Peanut (cockatiel), geese, chickens and six dogs. She also loved gardening, cooking and fishing.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Anna McClellan. Survivors include her husband, Robert Gonzales; five children, Danial Sampson, Laura (Chris) Tomlinson, Tammy Jo, Alex Gonzales and Scott Gray; one brother, John "Buddy" McClellan, Jr.; one sister, Melissa (Bill) Connley; and many loving grandchildren.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
