Paul Erwin Waits, Jr of Maumelle, AR passed away on October 2, 2014. He was born May 25, 1970 to Paul Erwin Waits, Sr and the late Martha Ann Weeks.

He is proceeded in death by his mother: Martha Weeks, step-mother: Tina Waits, and grandmother Jesse Hardy and grandfather John Edward Hardy.

Paul is survived by his husband: JT Lacy, father; Paul Waits Sr, step-mother: Priscilla Waits, five sisters: Leslie Dees of Columbus, Mississippi, Virginia Ingram of West Point, Mississippi, Lyla Garner of Brooksville, Mississippi, Shelby Thrash of Madison, Mississippi, Beka Jenkins of Brandon, Mississippi, five brothers: Patrick Waits of Pensacola, Florida, Jamie Felix, and John Waits, Adam Shields of Starkville, Mississippi, and Drew Shields of Columbus, Mississippi. There are numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other loved ones that we'd never get all listed out.
His love for all things Disney was like no other you've ever seen. He worked to spend as much time as possible in his second home, Walt Disney World. There, all of his cares and worries were magically taken away. It didn't matter how late he stayed up playing in the parks, he was always ready to go the next day. He willingly talked to anyone who would listen about it and do his best to convince them to go and experience it for themselves.
He leaves behind numerous broken hearts that I'm sure he's already working on mending.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Chapel. Service will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Chapel. Intermittent will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
