Paula Joyce Shaeffer, 73, of Cabot, was called home May 28, 2017. Paula was born April 12, 1944 in Lawrencetown, Arkansas to the late Paul and Stella Guntharp. She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer and son, Marcus Shaeffer. Paula is survived by two daughters, Kim Adler (Jim) and Tawalla Jones of Cabot; three grandchildren, Debra Ballard and Bryan Ballard of Cabot, Shae Ballard of Texas; three great-grandchildren; and, sister Barbara Verkler of Cabot.

Funeral service will be Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Ward. Bro. Joe Glover will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Service, Cabot.
