Ramona Lynn Higgs, 63, of Cabot, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 25, 2021.  She was born December 27, 1957 in Searcy to the late Sam and Delsie Teasley Rawe.  Ramona was ambitious, smart, talented, fiercely independent, hard-headed as a bull, and had a wicked sense of humor.  During school, she participated in the Cabot High School band, Majorette Team, FHA, FHA State Officer Delegate, FHA Federation Officer, Miss Cabot Runner-up, and Miss Lonoke County Fair Queen two years in a row.  As an adult, she dedicated over 33 years in the nursing field taking care of   Veterans at the VA Hospital in Little Rock where she earned many promotions and awards.  Later in life, depression, anxiety, and PTSD lied to her. She became a prisoner to these lies and her home. The lies of depression can only exist in isolation. Once brought to light, lies are revealed for what they are. She is finally able to see in the light. She was worthy. She was loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Magan Eads; three grandchildren, Raelyn, Nevaeh, and Silas; brothers, Mike Rawe and Andy (Cheryl) Rawe; nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and special friends, Carol, Troy, Amanda, Scott, and Frog.
