Robert "Bobby" Joseph Conard, Jr., of Cabot, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 13, 1957 in Fairbanks, Alaska to Lavon & Robert Conard, Sr.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Charles Fields Conard and Mr. & Mrs. Clayton Shurley of Cabot.

He is survived by his three children: Michael Conard of Little Rock, Jodie Conard and Robert Joseph Conard, III of Cabot; his parents, Robert Conard, Sr. and Lavon Conard; two brothers, Michael A. Conard (Debbie) and Tony Conard (Angie)of Cabot; niece Ashley Conard; nephew Weston Conard; his Fiancee' Vickie Harmon of Austin; along with many other family members and dear friends.

Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Service, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Bro. Don Moore officiating. Clayton Thomas Shurley, Billy Ray Shurley, James Shurley, Charles Dailey, Clayton Lee, Phillip Hames, Mike Jenkins & Brad Shurley as pallbearers and Mike Howard and Craig Shurley as Honorary Pallbearers. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.

His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing & playing golf. He also enjoyed working with his uncles on the farm, being one of the "four" musketeers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Arkansas Cancer Research Center in Little Rock.
