Ruth Virginia Mason's Obituary
Ruth Virginia Mason, age 80, of Cabot, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. She was born March 17, 1928 to the late Bryant & Juanita Batts.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sonja Mason of Modesto, California and Marsha Mason of Navarre, Florida; two brothers, Charles E. Batts of Columbus, Georgia & Thomas Batts (Carolyn) of Panama City, Florida; five sisters, Lynda Cottom of Smith Station, Alabama, Grace Hill, Mary Kelly (Roy), Gayle Henderson (Tommy) all of Phoenix City, Alabama and Martha House (Bim) of Columbus, Georgia; four grandchildren Graham McClendon (Marie) of Austin and Eric Hjertquist of Hawaii, Caitlin and Lindsay Gazzillo of Navarre Florida; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. today, Friday, December 5, 2008 at Thomas Funeral Service Chapel with internment immediately following at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.
