Sandra Lee Mahoney, age 56, of Jacksonville, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2009. She was born February 11, 1953 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Otis and Gladys Pruitt.

She is also preceded in death by son Gary Lynn Roberts.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Robert A. Mahoney, Sr., of the home, sons Robert Allen Mahoney, Jr. (Karen), Marcus Wade Mahoney (Kelli) all of Jacksonville and James Adam Mahoney; six grandchildren: Jeremy Shane Skaggs, Robert Allen Mahoney, III, Briana Mari Mahoney, Brooke Leann Mahoney, Brittney Lynn Mahoney, Marcus Wade Mahoney, Jr. and Landon Alexander Weiss; along with other family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2009 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Russell Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Cabot with interment immediately following at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Sandra's memory be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
