Steve L. Summers, age 49, of Beebe, passed away, February 19, 2008. He was born October 20, 1958 in Little Rock to the late Vernon Summers and Joy Thomas.

He is preceded in death by his father Vernon Summers, mother Joy Thomas and one brother Leon Summers.

Survivors include his wife Janice Summers of Beebe; two daughters Leeann Farley (Tim) of Gonzales, Louisiana and Leslie Abshure (Jason) of Beebe; two sisters Mary Hopkins of Ward and Yvonne Keisler (Eddie) of Stuttgart; brothers, Sammy Hopkins of Ward, James Summers of Stuttgart and Mark Thomas of Pine Bluff; six grandchildren: Ryan Farley, Katie Farley, Perkins Abshure, Shannon Anderson, Jr., Tiffany Abshure and Nicholas Abshure along with many other family members and friends.

A time of visitation will be 1:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Deliverance Tabernacle in Ward, with interment following at Beebe City Cemetery. Arrangement by Thomas Funeral Service.
