Thomas Layne Rodgers, 66, of Jacksonville passed away from this life at his home on Thursday, April 4, 2019. He was born Tuesday, April 8, 1952 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late A.J. and Joyce E. Bryant Rodgers. Mr. Rodgers served during Vietnam in the Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Ann Adams; two brothers, Robert Wayne and Michael Edward Rodgers.

Survivors include his son, Baxston C. Rodgers of Jacksonville; and one grandchild, Alaiyah M. Rodgers of Nashville, Arkansas; siblings, Alvin J. (Paula) Rodgers of Springville, Alabama and John M. (Keni) Rodgers of Lake Hills, Texas.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2019 at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, AR  72120. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service, (501) 941-7888.
