Thomas Oliver Yates, Jr, age 21 of Cabot, passed away April 15, 2012. He was born March 17, 1991 to Thomas & Cindy Yates in Jacksonville, AR.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather J.M. Yates and uncle Richard A. Yates.

Thomas was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses and four wheelers, back roading and especially loved his coon dogs. He loved hanging out with his family and friends. Thomas never met a stranger and always had a smile for everyone he met.

He is survived by his parents Cindy & Thomas Yates of Cabot; fiancé Christin Dunnican of Cabot; six siblings Jennifer Yates, Amanda Yates both of No. Little Rock, Monica Ray-Carter (Richard) of Summerville, South Carolina, Melanie Perin of No. Little Rock, Michelle Perin (Jon) of Cabot and Cody Yates (Courtney) of Ft. Benning, Georgia; grandparents Polly Yates, Johnny Fletcher (Lois) and Carolyn Morris; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces & Nephews; along with many other family members and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Lonoke with interment at Concord Cemetery.
