Vera Ellen Staley, 59, passed away on August 14, 2016. She was born on January 2, 1957 to James and Reba Spradlin. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ of Cabot. She loved to read, work with flowers and embroider. She worked for Bankcroft of Cabot. She was preceded in death by her father James.

She is survived by her husband Alvin Joe Staley; daughter Amanda Reed (Eric) of Austin; son Danny Staley of Cabot; mother Reba Bradley Spradlin; brothers Jimmy Spradlin (Crystal) of Austin and Jeff Spradlin of Cabot; sisters Donna Henry (Jack) of Ohio and Regina Gunn (Kenny) of Cabot; six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A memorial Service will be Friday, August 19th at 12:00 PM with visitation at 11:00 AM both at Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot.
