William "Bill" McDowell Bailey age 86 of Cabot went to be with his Lord on September 24, 2013, at the V.A. in Little Rock. He was born on May 23, 1927 in Cabot to the late Hubert Allen and Lola Ford Bailey

He is also preceded in death by daughter: Tina Bailey Spark and son: Mark Steven Bailey

Bill is survived by wife: Shirley Ax Bailey of the home, three sons: Joe A Bailey, Porter (Darlene) Bailey, both of Cabot, Wayne (Kim) Bailey of Jacksonville, brother: Lewis (Suda) Bailey of Cabot, nine grandchildren: Heather Phillips, Billie Jo Parker, Brandi Casey, Nicole Williams, Jeramie Bailey, Nicholas Bailey, Drew Bailey, Bobbi Jo Bailey, J.J. Johnson, and a host of other family and friends.

A time of visitation 10:00 A.M till 12:00 P.M. Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot. A family burial will be at a later date at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
