Rev. William Bert Powell's Obituary
Rev. William Bert Powell, age 80, of Cabot, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2008 in Jacksonville. He was born June 16, 1928 in Cabot to the late Luther & Jennie Powell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 1/2 years Mary A. Powell of the home; one daughter Dianna Hill and husband Raymond of Forrest City; two grandsons, Duke Hill (DaShaune) and Michael Hill; two great-grandchildren, Claire & Hunter Hill, along with many other family and dear friends.
A time of visitation is scheduled for 2:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church with Raymond Hill, Rev. Mark Matthews officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. Arrangements are by Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot.
