Wayne Cochran, age 77, of Cabot, passed away October 15, 2006. He was born September 29, 1929 in Bearden to the late Tom Henry & Myrtle Marie Cochran.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Survivors include his wife Melba Cochran of the home; two sons, Steve Cochran of Little Rock, David Cochran of Cabot; one daughter, Cindy Cochran of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Eloise Landis of Grapevine, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot officiated by Bruce Tucker, minister, Southside Church of Christ. Family requests memorials be made to Southside Church of Christ, Cabot, AR; Arkansas Hospice Foundation or The Alzheimer's Foundation of America. Arrangement by Thomas Funeral Service.
